Climate Change
Throughout the world, young people are working to ensure a more sustainable future. Whether it’s researching new and innovative ways to grow crops to feed the world, educating people on how to be better stewards of the land, or advocating for policy changes to curb climate change, these 22 young people are leading the charge.
We’ve identified young activists, scientists, campaigners, and farmers as major influencers in the fight against climate change and champions for sustainability. We connected with them to capture their points of view on what sustainable agriculture means to them, what issues their region is facing, and how plant science can play a role in their future. These interviews have been formatted and adapted from their original recordings for length and clarity.
While their perspectives are very diverse and different from each other in terms of nationality, profession, background and experiences, they are all united in one goal—working towards a more sustainable future. Their efforts locally and globally are changing the world for the better, and CropLife International is honored to help amplify their voices, and to work with our members toward that same goal of a sustainable future.
