To maximize crop yields, farmers need soil that is rich in nutrients, hosts microorganisms that support plant growth and contains organic matter that improves soil structure and moisture retention. But over the last 150 years, the planet has lost half of its fertile soils through mismanagement, degradation and erosion.

No-till agriculture is helping to reverse some of the damage. By growing biotech crops and using crop protection products to control weeds, our soil is regaining its fertility. Check out this infographic to see how no-till farming is helping farmers produce higher yields while resisting the impact of climate change.
